Our BusinessBites Button enables you to make money from your knowledge and your traffic. You can offer multiple professional services with one easy to use online platform. These services include; free or paid consulting by chat and video call, projects utilizing your knowledge and our state of the art management and pre-billing solution. Think of us as “The Buy Button” to online consulting.
Q: Who can use the BusinessBites Button?
A: Any professional or consultant that would like to provide consultations, advice or other services online. The BusinessBites Button allows you to engage your clients free by chat or video call as a lead generator, or you can charge for your time by the minute. The BusinessBites Button can be used as a standalone “Contact Web-page” or may be applied to any website, blog or social media profile.
Q: Does it cost anything to get the BusinessBites Button?
A: No. It is free to start. BusinessBites has 3 types of payment plans: 1) Pay As You Work- this plan requires no credit card upfront and only costs when you make money. BusinessBites charges .00 - .39 cents per minute for chat and video call depending on what you charge. If you do not charge for communication with your clients, then BB gives you 3 conversations as a free trial, then charges you .19 cents per minute. When you complete a project for a client using our BB project management, we charge a 10% escrow and billing fee for that project. 2) Pay Per Month- this plan is $19.99/mo + 5% escrow and billing. This is a good plan for anyone that does more business and likes to charge for it. We still offer free communication if you wish. 3) Power Professional- this plan is only $9.99/mo + 5% for 12 months and is for those that like to Save Money! Everything the Pay Per Month Plan offers at ½ the cost.

Q: What does it mean by "It's Free to Start?"
A: We want to make sure that you have found the right business professional for you, so we do not start charging until 3 minutes has expired. We suggest that you use the time to determine if this consultant is the right one for the job. As long as you end the chat or call before this 3 minutes is up, there is no charge.
Q: How do I know how much time and money I am spending on a Business Consultant?
A: Your communication begins when and business consultant accepts your chat or call. Your first 3 minutes of communication, either by chat or call is always free. Once the timer passes the 3 minute mark the consultation will be billed at the per minute rate at the top of the chat or video box. That rate will be multiplied by the amount of time you spend on the chat or call. The length of the call or chat is shown at the top of the chat/video call box. BB doesn't round up. In, fact we only charge for minutes after the full 60 seconds has transpired. For example if you talk to or chat with an consultant for 10 minutes and 59 seconds, you will only be charged for 7 minutes. That is the 10 minutes minus the 3 minutes free. Once you or the consultant click "Quit Session" the consulting fee will either be charged to your credit card or PayPal account depending on your selection prior to the communication.
Q: How do I find a Professional?
A: To begin a consult with one of our professionals, please go to the "Find a Consultant" at the top of the page and click on the sub-category of your choice. The experts who are available for Live Chat or Call have a flashing button that says, "Contact Live" next to their listings. You may want to view the profiles of the available consultants to compare the experiences, skills and ratings in order to select the best fit for your project or question. view their profiles and compare their ratings.
Q: How do I start a consultation?
A: Once you have chosen the business professional you would like to meet with, click on the "Chat Live" button to begin a chat. Click on the "Call Now" button to speak with the Consultant. If you are already registered as a member at BusinessBites, please sign in. If you are not a BB member yet, please complete the quick sign up: it's simple and there's no obligation. We'll ask you to accept our terms and conditions and to provide your billing preference. You may pay for services on BusinessBites with your credit card or your Paypal account. Once your meeting begins, you will see a timer and the rate that the consultant is charging at the top of the chat or video box. You will then be asked to "wait for the Consultant to respond." Once the consultant responds, your session will begin. The first 3 minutes are always free. The meeting will continue until either you or the consultant clicks on the "Quit Meeting" button, which will end your meeting. If the consultant is not available, you will receive an message saying the "Consultant is not available."
Q: What if I have my blog on Wordpress.com?
A: Unfortunately, Wordpress.com (the host) doesn't allow plug-ins like the BB Button. Currently, the only way to solve this is to move to Wordpress.org and use another host. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/. If you are interested in doing this by moving content and Google ranking you can read more here to get assistance at http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/, there is a fee for this service but making this move will allow you to monetize your site in many ways including using the BB Button.
